Two new porn site reviews, four DVD reviews, around eight review updates (including the various 21Sextury Network sites) and 17 pornstar profiles were added in June.
Right now I'm trying not to melt away in this damn European Summer heatwave, but I'll try to convince myself to get something done today... Alright, let's say tomorrow then. I think I'll settle for dinner and a cold beer tonight.

There, done! Let's hope I didn't screw anything up. If you're curious what I'm talking about it's the task of updating the scores for six sites at once - the main 21Sextury Network review and most of the reviewed sites within it, to reflect their upgrade to HD video quality around a year ago.
Usually I'm quite happy I went for the cheap option when I launched this review site and didn't pay several thousand Dollars for a fancy custom coded, database driven system to run the site off and just made my own simple template system instead, but on those rare occasions where I have to update 15-20+ files at once manually (reviews, category pages, sidebar files and others), I do sort of miss said fancy, expensive system. I better double check later that I didn't mess up any numbers or the order of reviews on any category pages, but right now I think it's time for breakfast - and the last couple of hours of Le Mans.

I've added a new site network review - PremiumPass, a pretty fantastic hardcore video network by the BrainPass people, in collaboration with Jules Jordan and a bunch of high profile pornstars.
A few individual porn site reviews will follow later, but for now the main network review should hopefully contain more than enough information to give you a good impression of what to expect from PremiumPass.

A new porn site review, three DVD reviews and three review updates were added in April.
I'm also giving the pornstar profiles on the blog another try - in a simplified video suggestion format that should hopefully give me a slightly better chance of actually getting them, you know, done. So far I've added four of them the last week.
If I do actually get around to do a lot of them in the coming months (as long as I keep picking pornstars I'm familiar with - and that's a pretty long list - they really are really quick to do, so despite my very limited schedule, I'm optimistic), I'll make sure to add an A-Z index as well - the blog category index and "recent posts" aren't exactly the best ways to look up specific names.

I've reviewed Huge Strapon Lesbians, a new site from the Brutal Dildos team. Both sites - along with seven others - are now all part of a pretty impressive and fairly unique site network, I added brief descriptions of the other sites in my February update of the Brutal Dildos review.

A new site review and three review updates (well, four if you count the double up on the VideoBox review) were added in March. Yes, I know I've been extraordinarily lazy the last few months - I don't really watch any less porn than usual (which is to say still quite a lot), it's just the writing part I'm struggling a bit with at the moment.
I'm working on it.
Meanwhile my website traffic stats show that most of you tend to read the old, highest rated reviews rather than the more recent additions anyway (not surprisingly I guess, as I also mentioned in a December post below, many of those sites I originally reviewed back in 2005/06 are still among the best out there in my opinion), so if this is your first visit to Mike's Porn Site Reviews, starting with the top 20 list on the right probably isn't a bad idea at all.

A new site review is up. The February additions amounted to a new porn site reviews, a network review, three review updates and... ehh, zero DVD reviews. I'm gonna try to improve on that last one in March. After I'm done spending most of my free time in front of the TV playing Killzone 2, Street Figther 4 and (re)watching the last two seasons of of X-Files on DVD.
Aside from new DVD reviews I've now got around 15 sites waiting on my review update list, so I better try to get at least the first handful of those crossed off in the coming month as well.

Here's a review of the Evil Angel Network.
I actually reviewed three of the then around 18 network sites a year ago, but since I discarded my previous "rule" of only reviewing networks with a main hub site when I did my 21Sextury Network review a few months ago, I felt that the Evil Angel Network deserved the same treatment. Primarily (but that should really also be reason enough) because it has a whole lot of damn good hardcore content - and even more now after it was recently merged with another eleven Evil Angel sites that were previously in a separate network.

I just had to remove eight reviews that for various reasons were no longer fit to be listed here (such as a site going entirely missing in one case). And here I thought I was only four porn site reviews away from yelling "I finally made it to 200!". Damn.
I've also been looking over some of the highest ranked sites in categories I don't deal with too often out of sheer personal interest, and it looks like a number of those - along with a few of my favourite sites - are overdue for updates. I expect to get those done over the next couple of months, as time and money permits it, but from brief initial checks of the tour pages etc., it looks like I can already safely conclude that most of those sites have, not surprisingly I guess, only gotten better since my previous updates or original reviews.

I think I might have mentioned the following somewhere below as well, but I'll repeat it now as a 2009 "briefing".
I won't bother updating this news section each and every time I've added a new DVD review or updated a site review, I'll probably just do a monthly summary - so keep an eye on the review links in the right sidebar instead.
Something I'm sure I've mentioned before is that I expect to do most new site reviews for Adult Reviews On The Run rather than here, as the structure on that site allows me to get a bit more done with my limited schedule (at the time of writing I've still mostly reviewed sites at AROTR that I've already reviewed here, because frankly they belong in any decent review collection).
I will still do the occasional site review here at Mike's Porn Site Reviews, but probably only if I feel it will be particularly relevant - a really great site for instance, or a new up and commer in a specific niche.
Which for this site leaves DVD reviews (I'm really hoping to be able to keep them coming significantly faster this year, but as usual I better refrain from making any promises) and keeping old (interesting) reviews updated.

Here's the first new porn site review of 2009 - Ass Titans, a new anal site with great HD content, but unfortunately at this time far too little of it to make it a viable alternative to the likes of Asshole Fever, Ass Traffic and Hands on Hardcore, where particularly the first two have very similarly styled anal and DP content, but in much larger quantities.

Today it's three years since Mike's Porn Site Reviews went online, and to celebrate that, here are a few new... no, actually I'm afraid that for now you'll have to settle for the two DVD reviews I've added over the last week.
I think we already established months ago that I unfortunately, for personal reasons, can't quite keep up the review pace I was aiming for, and usually managed, the first year.
I can however point out that now after having seen the member areas of perhaps around 300 paysites (and probably quite a bit more than that actually, taking large site networks into account) - of which I've reviewed just under 200 - a number of the sites I reviewed back in late 2005 and early 2006 still feature some of the highest scores I've handed out and, as detailed in the usually numerous updates I've written to said reviews, they are indeed still in my opinion some of the very best porn sites in their respective niches.
Which is also one of the reasons why I haven't always been in a hurry to try to get around to reviewing lots of new sites, as I frankly just don't think most of them - and I have checked out the member areas of quite a few I chose not to review after all - measure up to my old favourites, or in many cases come even remotely close.
So in honorable mention, here are the sites with an original review date of December 12 2005 (I hope I didn't forget any, my site isn't running off a database so I had to dig around for them by hand) - here three years later they are all better than ever.

If all goes according to plan (it rarely does around here), the three weeks before I'm off for the holidays, should produce some new DVD reviews here at Mike's Porn Site Reviews as well as new site reviews on my other site.

Here's a new porn site review - ALS Angels. As the name suggests this site is from the same people who are behind one of my favourite masturbation and lesbian sites, ALS Scan.
The main difference between the two sites - aside from the fact that ALS Angels is smaller, though still quite well stocked, and not updated at quite the same brisk pace - is that the girls at Angels are a bit curvier than the slim and slender babes from Scan.
