Girl/girl has been my favourite porn genre for quite a few years, and at some point in 2010 I decided to try to compile a list of my favourite lesbian videos.
Obviously I could remember quite a few of them off the top of my head, but I knew there were also many fantastic scenes I had more or less forgotten (mentally as well as in deep, dark corners of my external hard disks), and since they really also deserve to be rewatched now and then, I went ahead with this little project.
Being made first and foremost for my own use, this is obviously not at all an attempt at any kind of objective "best lesbian scenes ever" list (despite the slightly ill-advised page name I chose when I moved this list over from my now defunct blog). That would be an impossible task anyway.
I also had to place relatively strict limits on my choices to avoid the list growing completely out of control, so obviously there are numerous additional scenes from the sources in the list that I consider pretty damn amazing, and hundreds of others that are at the very least well worth watching once you've made it through the better ones - or just happen to have different tastes than me.
And then there are of course many others from sources/studios I didn't take into my considerations for various reasons - mainly because they, in my opinion, haven't delivered spectacular lesbian porn in the same quantities or with the same regularity as the ones I've chosen, or the ones that do consistently produce pretty great videos (American DVD studio Girlfriends Films could be one such example) only rarely use models I happen to be particularly fond of.
Following on from that last line, the list below is naturally also heavily biased towards my own favourite girl/girl models (most of them Hungarian or Czech, when it comes to hardcore b/g porn my taste in women tend to be a lot more global, but generally not so much with g/g), some of whom I've been a fan of for years, but I still figured there was no reason not to share the list with you guys anyway.
Take it for what you will, but in my opinion many of these videos are obviously must see material for fans of lesbian porn.

Viv Thomas
- While this is not a ranked list, neither the full list nor for the four individual sites/studios, I do consider most of the Viv Thomas scenes a notch or several above even the very best from the other sources.
- There are quite a few additional 2002-04 Viv Thomas scenes I was tempted to also add to this list, but unless I'm feeling nostalgic I tend to prefer watching more recent scenes with my favourite models. Jo for instance (who has won the VT Babe Of The Year award twice in three years) has changed a fair bit since her early days as a model, from "innocent" (blond) cutie to experienced, seductive (brunette) woman, and I quite like that change.

I haven't reviewed Orgasms.xxx yet, but I expect I'll do so in a few months since I've been a member since day one.
This new site - officially launched in September 2011 (but with much of the content dated earlier, as typical for new sites when they launch with a decent chunk of content) - features a roughly even mix of lesbian and b/g scenes, with a few solo videos and photosets thrown in for good measure.
The style of the content is quite similar to the sensual and intimate approach so well known from countless Viv Thomas scenes, which is hardly surprising since the Orgasms.xxx content is actually produced by crew who left VT a little under a year ago after many years working for that studio (VT meanwhile has had a bit of a slow year in terms of new content production while they've been rehiring and getting their new team up to speed, but at least they've had a lot of amazing content shot in 2010 to release in 2011).
That said, strong credentials aside, Orgasms.xxx has been a bit of a mixed bag so far with the videos (as with VT I'm only interested in their lesbian content) ranging from pretty damn fantastic all the way down to bland and uninspired. In the latter cases typically because they've had a questionable fondness for putting two inexperienced models together, which just rarely works out all that well in my opinion. There have also been some cases where the editing or camera work wasn't quite up to the usual high standards.
Anyway, here are my current favourites from Orgasms.xxx - and there are several others not listed here that are also well worth watching. The team will reportedly also be launching an exclusively girl/girl site soon as well, which I'll naturally also be checking out when that time comes.
Eufrat and Samantha (2011) (I'm a huge Eufrat fan, and five of her so far six scenes on Orgasms are arguably the very best she has ever done in my opinion. The sixth, with the usually stellar Blue Angel, unfortunately just didn't work, whether it's because Eufrat simply works better with her fellow Czech models or, more likely, because the directions and editing left a lot to be desired in that scene, which obviously didn't make this list)

Unfortunately both of them pair her up with inexperienced models and Lola isn't yet quite a strong enough performer to be the one to successfully carry a scene. She does her very best to make it work though, so I felt at least one of the scenes deserves an honorable mention here)
Caprice and Victoria (2011) (Caprice, formerly known as Little Caprice, is a model I've been keeping my eyes on this year. Some sites, like Sapphic Erotica and also here Orgasms, still seem a little too fond of casting her in the role of teenager with make-up, hair and clothing to match, but here in October 2011 Hegre-Art certainly also proved that she can look striking as the early-twenties woman she is. And she also just happens to be a pretty great girl/girl performer)
Lena Cova and Susan (2011) (I had initially misread the first name as Jana Cova on the upcoming updates page on the site. When I figured out it was Lena Cova, who I had only really noticed in passing before on other sites, I was less enthusiastic. It turned out to be a very good scene though)
21Sextury
- Most of the scenes below are from Club Sandy, Pix & Video, Sweet Sophie Moone or Blue Angel Live (direct site link on the last one), but the model pages allow cross site browsing anyway, so there's no need to search individual site archives in the network.
- Sandy and Sophie Moone are both featured in a massive 400+ scenes (though admittedly more than half of them solo rather than lesbian, and there's also a fair bit of behind the scenes content for particularly Sophie to subtract), and both ladies are more often than not pretty excellent (though the same obviously can't always be said for their partners), so I had to restrain myself in my choices here.
- As you can no doubt tell from the scene comments, this tends to be my go to place when I'm in the mood for lesbian porn with dildos and other toys. They have plenty of girl/girl scenes without toys, but it is a common theme.
- In addition to the sites I listed above, the network site Lez Cuties (still weekly updated, though I can see I'm a bit behind on my review update) is also worth mentioning. It features mostly relatively or entirely unknown Russian girls, though some of them have gone on to become relatively well known models. There are frequently some pretty good scenes here.

Jo and Cindy Hope (2011) (Jo and Cindy just can't seem to do a truly outstanding scene together, no matter how accomplished both are as models and no matter how much fun they seemed to be having together in the their candid parasailing video from an I Dream of Jo filming trip this Summer. The two scenes released on Sapphic Erotica earlier this year were good but not great. The one released just a couple of weeks ago on I Dream of Jo was quite frankly a disappointment, and this very recent one from 21Sextury is no work of art either, but certainly still among the better 21Sextury scenes this year. I guess I'll just chalk it up to a pairing that looks great on paper but doesn't quite work as well as it ought to in practice)

- Both among their recent and their older content, Sapphic Erotica has a lot of hot scenes with girls I've never come across before (or more likely in some cases, just don't remember coming across as they haven't made enough of an impact). Since I tend to prefer at least one familiar face over anonymous newbies, all the scenes on this list feature at least one of my favourite models, but I certainly do enjoy the occasional scene with only unknowns.
Hell, at one time or another all my favourite babes were obviously unknowns to me, and I have Sapphic Erotica to thank for becoming acquainted with the amazing Nella around five years ago. And I believe it might also have been the first site where I really started paying attention to Eufrat around 2007.
