Pros
+ When it comes to hardcore b/g porn on DVD (in downloadable format, the only studio I occasionally actually buy the original physical DVDs from - for my girl/girl shelf collection - is Viv Thomas) I generally don't pay a whole lot of attention to which studio happened to have released a movie or a scene I liked.
There are some exceptions though, like Zero Tolerance and Third Movies, and Devil's Film is another studio I've regularly made a note of over the last 5-6 years, perhaps particularly due to some of their insanely comprehensive movie series (the interracial gangbang series Gangland is up to 79 DVDs and counting, plus some offshoots of the series - white guys on black girls for instance - all available for download and streaming on this site).
Like the two other studios mentioned, Devil's Films is also one that's only very sporadically represented at the large multi-studio DVD sites like VideoBox and VideosZ (the latter does have many of the Gangland movies, a quick check showing number 44 in the series is the most recent at VideosZ however. And in fact that's everything they have from Devil's Film, and I don't believe VideoBox have any of their movies at all, except for a few scenes here and there having made it into compilation movies under different studio names).
+ A very large movie collection for a one-studio site. Hell, just a very large movie collection in general. One new scene added every day, and the same for several of the other sites in the network.
+ A very wide and diverse range of more or less popular pornstars from almost all over the world, with the US and Eastern Europe probably represented most generously.
+ I've generally only rarely mentioned download speeds in reviews because they can often be affected by so many factors outside of the site owners' control, but as 1080p HD downloads, and thus often 1.5-2+ GB files, become more common, I have noted my own download experiences in a few review updates the last year or so.
In the case of Devil's Film my experience has been a bit uneven, sometimes downloading at speeds as low as around 200-400 kB/s, which requires a lot of patience for some of those 1080p downloads. But right now while I'm typing this I have a 2.4 GB download running where the speed has been fluctuating between a brisk 1.5 and 3+ MB/s (my 50 Mbit connection tops out at 6 MB/s, but it's fairly rare that I see that on a single download stream from any sites or online services).
+ Access to a very large bonus site network. Something I inexplicably managed not to notice at all until three weeks into my membership, even though there's a faily obvious "Jump to site" drop down menu at the top of all pages.
Cons
- The site interface isn't quite as feature full and slick as on some of the best DVD sites.
- HD downloads (1080p and/or 720p) are only available for around a fifth of the content, but that's to be expected of course on a DVD site featuring content dating back through the last 10 years or more. You can also find many HD files throughout the site network, but I haven't calculated how large a percentage of the total amount of video content migth be in HD.
