What VideosZ lacks in originality it more than makes up for in sheer quantity. Quickly closing in on a staggering one thousand downloadable hardcore DVDs from leading porn studios, this site has enough content to keep you entertained for months - even years.
This is like having a very well stocked adult video store right in your living room - and it is all yours to enjoy for 30 bucks a month.

Update, July 13 2009:
I'm not sure whether I just missed them in April or if they are new, but whether one or the other there are now more price options at VideosZ than just one month recurring, and as usual with these things there's good money to save if you're ready to take the plunge with three or six months - particularly the latter.
And since I see no reason to break my tradition for writing (unnecessarily) long review updates, I might as well use the opportunity to mention that VideosZ is of course still keeping up it's steady pace with either five or six new DVDs a week, which means the archive has already grown by over 450 DVDs since my last update in April and they are now "only" 800 DVDs behind the main rival VideoBox.
As a personal side note - and as I also hinted at in April - I've found many of the movie additions to VideosZ so great that I've actually been keeping my membership active alongside my near permanent VideoBox membership.
Now obviously I don't expect all of you to have a typical monthly porn budget of several hundred Dollars ("I need it for reviews" does sound like an excellent excuse though, doesn't it?) so you might be a bit more picky, but we're definitely at a point now where VideoBox isn't quite the same clear cut choice or recommendation that it used to be for me, so as I think I said in that April update as well, do yourself a favor and check out both sites before you decide.
Update, April 19 2009:
The previous two review updates have actually just been based on what is immediately obvious to any visitor just browsing the site without a membership (as I've written before, these DVD download sites pretty much always have an entirely open site structure with no closed off member sections), but since I've been a bit uncertain about any potential changes to video quality and other areas, I decided it was probably time I didn't solely favor VideoBox over all the other multi studio DVD download sites, and join VideosZ again for a proper checkup (don't expect me to do pay much attention to the other DVD sites I've reviewed though, aside from the excellent one studio sites ZTOD and Third Movies, if any DVD download site currently stands a chance of receiving my recommendation alongside VideoBox, it's surely VideosZ).
As I reported in my previous update below, it really looks like VideosZ are putting a strong effort into (almost) catching up to VideoBox. Not only are they, by occasionally releasing six rather than five new DVDs a day, closing in in terms of volume where they are now only just over a thousand DVDs behind (sounds like a lot, but we're talking roughly 5,400 vs 6,400 here - hardly small numbers), but it also seems like VideosZ have been hard at work (re)aquring some new, strong content licensing deals.
That means that VideoBox aren't the only ones that have been busy adding titles from studios like Red Light District and Private the last several months, and whether intentional or not, it looks like the two sites have - so far - licensed mostly different titles. And VideosZ have definitely made - or been offered - some better picks when it comes to Private, where most of the titles at VideoBox have been old bargain bin crap, with too few quality titles in between. Things are looking a bit better on this site (although I'm sure many would argue, and I'm inclined to agree, that Private titles are a bit more hit-or-miss than the usually consistently very high quality from a studio like Red Light District).
Another area where VideosZ is now closer to VideoBox is video quality - 720x540, 1500 kbit is now the best option on downloads, although this only applies to videos added since November last year, and the bitrate is still well short of the typically 2900+ at VB, which means the videos won't look as sharp in full screen mode on a fairly large monitor.
On older videos you will have to settle for around 576x432, 1500 kbit in Xvid format.
If you prefer to simply stream the videos online, VideosZ offers an integrated Flash player with a nifty screenshot based timeline at the bottom, just like the one at VB.
Additional site features are also very impressive at VideosZ now, with the ability to bookmark DVDs, scenes and pornstars (VB is still missing an option for the last of those) as well as make playlists.
So what all this means is that VideosZ is almost, but only almost, as strong an offering as VideoBox now - but it's still, like almost every porn site, unable to match the very low membership price at VideoBox.
5,366 DVDs and counting quickly for $29.95 is nevertheless quite a bargain in my opinion - and if you agree, it might be worth taking a look at both sites and parts of their movie collections before you decide which one to join. I imagine there could very well be specific titles or studios that could sway some of you to one side or the other.

It seems like VideosZ has once again increased its update pace - this time to a very impressive five new DVDs every day, matching VideoBox. VideosZ is however still 1600+ DVDs behind in the content race.
Update, May 19 2007:
VideosZ has gotten a design overhaul. Maybe not something that's prime material for a review update, but it's actually quite an improvement over the small and hard to see/read site design they had been using for a while, so overall a very pleasant improvement.
While I'm at it I can of course also mention that the number of DVDs has gone up from 1461 to now 1629 since my last visit. Certainly not bad at all, but there's still that VideoBox site that seems to leave everyone else in the dust, even if "everyone else" actually have some rather amazing sites.
2nd look, February 18 2007:
It's been quite a few months since my last VideosZ membership expired, and since then - as you may have noticed - I've come across at least a couple of other DVD download sites able to put up a good fight against VideosZ, arguably even win.
Things have changed at VideosZ since my last visit though, important things. The biggest of those changes is without a doubt their decision to drop the DRM protection system on recent and future content - everything you download is yours to keep and play even without an active membership.
The oldest 600 DVDs or so were already available in non protected formats, so that leaves roughly another 600 DVDs between old and new that are still DRM protected - your guess is probably as good as mine as to whether or not they will remain that way, or if they will be converted/reencoded at some point.
All recently added non protected DVDs (from the last four months or so) are available in a downloadable Xvid (avi) format as well as a lower quality streaming version using one of those integrated Flash players you might know from mainstream sites like YouTube and Google Video.
The quality on the new Xvid videos has also been improved a bit - the videos look pretty good at 576x432, 1500 kbit, but it still falls far short of the 720x480, 2900 kbit videos you get at VideoBox with their premium membership (which still only costs half of what VideosZ and most other sites charge a month), and several of the other DVD download sites I've reviewed lately have also offered 640x480 or higher videos.
Another thing that should help put VideosZ back into the race again is a quicker update schedule that will supposedly take effect from next month. Three new DVDs every day rather than the two they are currently adding. That means VideosZ is only second to VideoBox in update speed, and unless Adult Rated speeds up their updates as well, VideosZ should be able to match that site in terms of volume in about a year.
Despite those improvements, VideosZ is no longer quite the leader among the DVD download sites as it probably was just those 14 months ago when I did my original review. Sure, with 1461 downloadable DVDs at the time of writing, two (soon three) new DVDs every day and pretty decent video quality you're certainly not getting shafted with this site.
But, and that's the but I've brought up in every other DVD site review I've done recently, these sites are so similar that comparisons are practically unavoidable, and currently VideoBox has well over 2300 DVDs, five new DVDs a day, better video quality (with the premium membership) and a lower price. Adult Rated falls somewhere in between VideoBox and VideosZ in most areas, and Adult Movie Club is very close to VideosZ in terms of volume and offers better quality.
I haven't made any changes to scores, but compared to a couple of the other sites you could easily argue for knocking a point or two off the quantity score, but if I did that I would probably have to go back and adjust a couple of other reviews as well - my rating scale has unfortunately proven a bit too top heavy on occasion, leaving too little room for fine adjustments.

With an ever increasing number of Internet surfers on fast broadband connections (is it just me or have I opened with that sentence before? I got to come up with some new material) the number of porn sites built more or less entirely around video content is growing almost as quickly.
VideosZ belongs to a still relatively rare breed of sites though, although the number of direct competitors is increasing. Rather than taking the common route of video porn sites and present members with a new in-house produced or stock bought video episode or scene one or several times a week, VideosZ offers its members an enormous pile of hardcore DVDs from popular porn studios - all neatly converted into a format that allows you to download the individual scenes from each DVD.
The more than 920 DVDs in the VideosZ archives (and a new one added every day) covers titles from currently 21 studios, and if you have ever taken a look at some of all the alluring DVD covers in an adult video store you may very well recognize studio names like Jill Kelly Productions, Acid Rain, Legend, Elegant Angel, Red Light District and Devil's Film.
Needless to say, big shot production companies like those have a whole lot of popular pornstars in their stables, and with a video collection of this size I can almost guarantee that you are bound to find many if not most or all of your favourite pornbabes starring in one or more scenes available at VideosZ.
Choosing to list all the pornstars you can search on returns the very impressive number 1625, and to name just a few of the big names, Jenna Haze stars on 58 DVDs, Aurora Snow 37, Nikita Denise 28, Silvia Saint 19 and Taylor Rain 13 DVDs.
The talent is not the only thing that spans a wide range at VideosZ, so do the porn niches. Whether you are into anal sex, Asian babes, blowjobs, gangbangs, black cocks in white babes or something else entirely you are likely to find it in spades.
If you are interested in something a bit more unusual than "common" hardcore porn you are generally out of luck though. While there are girls in latex, mature ladies and squirting orgasms, VideosZ is generally a site for those interested in straight on hardcore porn without any finer details.
With a site entirely focused on video content the quality is obviously an important aspect, and while a 640x480 video resolution would have been nice, 480x360 is pretty good and the high (very high actually) bitrates available make the videos good enough for full screen viewing.
It deserves mentioning that all the recent content (approximately the last 300 DVDs) is DRM protected, which means that you will need an active membership to watch the videos.
The older content is not protected (yet anyway), so you can keep playing it even after you cancel your membership. The quality of these older videos is also a bit lower than the recent ones, but still acceptable.
The last thing I will comment on is the interface. VideosZ looks great and the design is extremely open and friendly and very featureful.
You can search or sort content by pornstars, niches, studios, DVD series (some popular series have as many as 30+ movies), top pics, most downloaded etc.
The site is also completely open to guests so you can freely browse the entire video archives before joining - definately a big plus.
The idea behind VideosZ may be entirely unoriginal, the content used on other sites - not to mention found on store shelves, but I have not yet come across a site that offers so incredibly much of it as the case is here. The volume is simply staggering and the number of movies is still growing at a brisk pace.
If you like the idea of having unrestricted access to the online equivalent of a huge adult video store VideosZ is currently your best choice. And it is certainly not made any worse by only costing you 30 bucks a month rather than the $30,000+ it would cost you to buy all the original DVDs.
