DVD Scores Explained
Unlike site reviews where the total score is the sum of eight subscores, the single score used in DVD reviews is a slightly more arbitrary value based mainly on my view of the entertainment value of the movie, as most of the other individual scoring categories aren't really suitable here.
As such I've also decided to stick to multiples of five with the DVD scores, and in all likelyhood I will not go above 95/100 even for my favourite movies.
Aside from lack of perceived entertainment value affecting the score negatively, anything else listed under cons might do the same.
Chances are I won't bother wasting my time reviewing DVDs I find really boring (just as the case has mostly been with site reviews), so you can probably expect most of the DVD scores to be in the 75-95 range.
